Description

Have fun learning how to knit Fair Isle.  We will cover ways to attach new colours, how to carry your yarn at the back (floats), achieve an even tension and tips on colour choice and patterns.  Knitting in the round is optional the project can be knit flat. The class is open to all ages. This class is three hours long.

Skills required: Students must be able to do basic knit stitches.
Materials: Yarn, needles and a handout will be supplied to keep.   Knitting belts are available for the duration of the class if wished.
Where: The majority of workshops will take place in Lerwick. If this changes you will be notified via phone or email.
